My Story
Singled-Handedly Blessed is my story of singleness, reflection, adoption, redemption, provision, and relentless pursuit of my Lord. My heart is to encourage other non-married individuals who are seeking God through their journey. While we all live in service, hope, and adoration, there is a special, different experience in singleness. God gives his mercy, and he meets us at our greatest needs in moments when we need him the most. God calls us all to be his servants right where we are for such a time as this. Whatever your journey, I pray Single-Handedly Blessed will help you embrace singleness—you are a beloved child of God—so you might flourish in the journey he has for you. I am honored to be the Assistant Director for the Center for Women and Children at Helping Up Mission in Baltimore, Maryland. I have spent over ten years in ministry in the community, especially in the challenges of homelessness, food insecurity, housing, and addiction. I have an adopted daughter, Adalynn and am in waiting on second adoption placement.
